A drawing journey across the width and length of Hezliya city and its history
Herzliya city is an example of the urban development of the Sharon colonies in the center of Israel which were established in the 1920-1930th as agricultural settlements. The town, named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of the Zionist movement, reached within eighty years the dimensions of a large and colorful city that is part of the Tel Aviv metropolis. The book presented here sums up dozens of illustration tours throughout the length and breadth of Herzliya, including the spectacular seashore, Glil Yam Park, the high-tech area in Herzlyia Pituach, the old city center, Reichman University, and many other places.
Herzliya Mayor Mr. Moshe Padlon chose to print over 1,500 copies of the book for distribution to honored guests of the municipality, veterans and the cultural institutions in the city.
